How to secure the GTB 737 mobile service with security PIN
As convenient as the GTB 737 mobile banking service is, there was always the risk of someone else easily performing a fraud or stealing your money by simply knowing your debit card number and having temporary or, in case of a theft, permanent access to your phone.
Previously, if someone wanted to transfer money from your account through your mobile device to themselves, pay their own bills, or even recharge their own phone lines through the GTB 737 service , all that was required for authentication was the last four digits of your debit card.
However, GTBank has now added another layer of security to the process by making it mandatory to generate a secure four-digit PIN to complete the mobile service transactions.
HOW TO CREATE SECURE PIN
- Dial *737*5#
- Input the last 6 digits of your Debit Card
- Create your 4-digit PIN
